Paul Santoro — Executive Assistant

Paul Santoro joined Boston Light Financial in August of 2026 to help support one of our Founders, Sheryl Wein.  Paul brings more than 25 years of experience in customer service, client relations, financial administration, and team support to his role at Boston Light Financial.

Paul grew up right down the street from our Woburn office in Medford, MA and now lives with his wife Shaileen in Framingham, MA.

Before joining Boston Light Financial, Paul spent many years in higher education and financial administration, including roles at Brandeis University and Wentworth Institute of Technology. His background in assisting people with their student accounts, customer service management, and financial operations gives him a strong foundation in how to keep complex operations running smoothly — while still keeping the human side of the work front and center.

Outside the office, Paul is a small-business owner — he founded Sugar & Sound Bakery, a licensed gluten-free and dairy-free micro-bakery inspired by his love of baking and music. Building it from scratch has sharpened his skills in entrepreneurship, marketing, operations, and customer relationships, and it's a good window into how he approaches everything: with care, creativity, and a willingness to figure things out as he goes.

Paul is also a kidney transplant recipient (since 2014), an experience that's shaped how he thinks about resilience, gratitude, and making the most of every opportunity.
