Sheryl H. Wein, CRPC®, CPFA®
Sheryl believes finance doesn't have to feel like a foreign language — and she's built her whole career around proving it. As an LPL Financial Advisor, she works with individuals and businesses to help them make sense of the complex world of investments and insurance, and to actually feel confident about where their money is headed.
Sheryl's path started right after graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2000 with a BA in Legal Studies, when she joined Waddell & Reed as a financial professional. It was there that she met her business partner, Steve Collins, and after working side by side for nearly two decades, the two of them founded Boston Light Financial together in June of 2018.
The "team" part of Boston Light Financial matters a lot to Sheryl — it's not just a tagline. She's built her practice around the idea that every client should have real people in their corner, not a call center. There's no 800 number here. Just a team who knows your name and your goals, and who's ready to help when you need it. A team that supports each other and our clients.
Sheryl holds her Series 7 and Series 66 registrations through LPL Financial, along with two professional designations that reflect her focus on doing right by clients: Chartered Retirement Plan Counselor (CRPC®) and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®).
Outside the office, Sheryl is a Massachusetts native through and through, having grown up in Framingham and Newton. These days, she lives in Bedford with her husband Warren, their two sons, and their dog, Marshmallow. When she's not working, you'll likely find her off on a family adventure at a concert, sporting event, or on the beach in Rhode Island — she's a firm believer that the best memories happen outside the day-to-day routine.
