Warren joined Boston Light Financial to help support the day to day running of the business as we have grown. Warren's career path has a bit of a plot twist in it. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, he headed off to Skidmore College and earned a BA in Bio-Chemistry — and then promptly landed in the computer industry instead. As it turned out, building software suited him better than lab work, though he'd be the first to admit his chemistry degree wasn't exactly built for debugging code.
Finding software to be a better fit for him, Warren went back to school, earning a Certificate of Client Server Application Development from Boston University, then a Master of Software Engineering from Brandeis University. It's the kind of resume that says a lot about him: when something doesn't quite fit, he doesn't force it — he figures out what he actually needs and goes and gets it.
Outside of work, Warren's happiest spending time with his family, and if you can't find him, check the garage — there's a good chance he's got his head under the hood of a car, tinkering away just for the fun of it.
